Featuring the iconicCape Codcelebrating its 30th anniversary last year, the time has come to introduce the newCape Cod TwilightforClocks and Wonder 2022. Working in conjunction with an exceptional Swiss technical micro-center, the delicate timepiece features a stunning abstract motif designed by Vietnamese artist Thanh-Phong Lê.

Details are best appreciated up close, thanks to the impressive dial created from a silicon wafer by the Neuchâtel-based Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM). A single 0.5mm plate is coated with a thin film of silicon nitride to create a deep blue hue, before being exposed to blue light to recreate the beautifulTwilight(dusk/dusk) printed on the silicon wafer.

Final touches include the gold plating stage along with the removal of unnecessary materials to give it a flawless look. The plate is then shaped to fit perfectly insideCape Codclock, before sending it toWatchmaker Hermèsstudies where the navy blue calfskin strap (available as one or two wraps) is attached to the anchor chain half links on both sides of the watch.

TheCape Codgets a whole new look thanks toTwilightdial, which radiates beautifully on the 29mm “square in a rectangle” steel case. Other technical aspects include anti-reflective sapphire crystal and the exquisite watch is powered by quartz movement for accurate display.
